Tourist Radio System (TRS)

The Livewire Tourist Radio System (TRS) is an advanced technology radio communications system designed specifically for the rigours of the tourism industry.

The system provides superior radio reception and audio quality by packaging state of the art microcomputer controlled electronics into an attractive, compact and robust unit. It allows visitors to move freely around any attraction, concentrating on those areas of particular interest without missing one moment of the commentary.

Each receiver can be set by the user to one of 16 channels. This allows several tour groups to operate simultaneously without interference from one another.

The receivers are fully synthesized and operate in the 73MHz band.

TRS-RX2: Livewire Tourist Radio Receiver. Shown with optional headphones which connect to the receiver by way of a standard 3.5mm stereo connector. Powered by 2xAA standard alkaline batteries, the receiver will operate for up to 3 months under normal use. Compatible with TRS-TX2 hand-held transmitter.
